The Lowy Institute is on the hunt for Australia's sharpest young strategic minds. Applications are open for the 2010–11 Michael and Deborah Thawley Scholarship in International Security, offered by the Lowy Institute in partnership with the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC. This is an exceptional opportunity for an emerging Australian strategic thinker — such as a junior official or postgraduate student — to take part in the work of two leading think tanks dedicated to generating original and policy–oriented ideas and research on world affairs. Full details here on the Lowy Institute website. Applications close 3 December.
