  • The NY Times says things might not be quite as bad as we thought in Burma.
  • It's nice that Britain is sending another 230 troops to Afghanistan and Germany perhaps another thousand. but according to the former NATO commander in Afghanistan, about 400,000 troops are needed to do the job properly.
  • 'Given current projections, the costs of restricting emissions just can’t be justified based on the benefits that it is projected to provide.' I have read the post from which this quote comes, but not yet fully digested it or followed all the links. But I feel like it's important, so I'm linking to it. Let me know what you think.
