Well, we did ask (although it wasn't really the point of Jim Molan's piece about Asian literacy in Australia — blame the editor for writing a misleading headline).

Depends what you're going for. Bodoh, tolol, goblok (geblek), bego, idiot (with much more stress on the 'iot' than we have in English), bloon (oon), and dozens more depending on where you are in the archipelago.
