Reader riposte: Rudd throws the kitchen sink at regional architecture

7 January 2011 08:43

UPDATE (9.40am): The link which takes you to the kitchen website ('Asia-Pacific — A Community for the 21st Century') has now been removed from the DFAT 'Issues' page.

Just when Fergus thought the Foreign Minister and his department were making progress on the e-diplomacy front comes this email from Kate Grayson, an adviser to Liberal Senator Russell Trood:

While the debate about the Asia-Pacific community (APc) continues, there does seem to have been an oversight on the DFAT website. When you click on the 'Issues' tab, scroll down to the 'Regional organisations' section and click on the link to 'The Asia-Pacific — A Community for the 21st Century', it takes you to a kitchen cabinet design website. One assumes this will be brought the Foreign Minister's attention.
