Yes, it's only a trailer, but Luc Besson's Aung San Suu Kyi biopic looks unpromising:

Why unpromising? Because the villains in the Burmese regime look cartoonishly one-dimensional, and Aung San Suu Kyi looks saintly in that Kevin Costner/Ben Kingsley kind of way designed to impress Oscar voters.

It's worth noting Clint Eastwood's Invictus in this context. Director Eastwood and actor Morgan Freeman should be commended for showing such restraint in their portrayal of Nelson Mandela, in what could easily have turned into a celluloid deification. It's a rather dull film, overall, but it does have some interesting things to say about political leadership.
