The Interpreter: It\ kind of a big deal

I don't often use this space to promote the site, on the assumption that the work can speak for itself. But scanning the page at the end of this Monday, it occurs to me that The Interpreter has had a particularly good day.

In just the last eight hours or so we've featured, among other things, expert analysis of global climate change negotiations, a beautifully illustrated portrait of China's interior, the latest installment of a review of the Howard memoirs by one of Australia's most experienced journalists, and a concise case for why we need to worry about al Qaeda's Yemen affiliate.

We love bringing The Interpreter to you each day, and we hope you enjoy reading it. Please tell your friends about us.
