The Ghost Writer

British Prime Ministers seem to be all the rage in Hollywood just now. Recently we featured trailers for 'The Special Relationship', about the Blair-Clinton years, and below is the trailer for 'The Ghost Writer', a thriller about a fictional British PM. Looks quite diverting, if you can get past Kim Catrall doing a British accent*. The film opens in Australia next Thursday.

* UPDATE: I'm told that Kim Catrall was, in fact, born in England. Wikipedia agrees, though it also says she moved to Canada when she was 3 months old, then returned to the UK between the ages of 11 and 16. Not sure what this implies about her accent, but judging by the trailer, she doesn't sound like a native Brit to me.

And further to the Prime Ministerial theme, Wikipedia also notes that, at one time, Catrall was 'linked' to Canadian PM Pierre Trudeau.
