First, thanks to all those who have written to me about the e-diplomacy policy brief launched yesterday. Thanks also to US über e-diplomat Alec Ross for the plug.

This morning, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) e-diplomacy team provided me with two clips. The first is an interview with their Ambassador in Vietnam discussing how he uses e-diplomacy:

The second is an example of how the medium can be used politically. Minister for Europe, David Lidington, takes a slug at Iran over its sentencing of blogger Hossein Derakhshan to 19.5 years in prison.

The State Department's main Twitter feed also has a bit of a political flavour today with this tweet:
