The 9/11 decade

The US Studies Centre at the University of Sydney is holding its 2011 National Summit, and the theme is 'The 9/11 Decade: How Everything Changed'.

Judging by the program, it looks like it will be a cracking event, with names such as Peter Cosgrove, Paul McGeogh, Nicholas Burns, Anatol Lieven, Josef Joffe, Robert Kaplan and Stephen Krasner. I see Hugh White's name on the list too; no doubt he will question the title of the conference, arguing that there's an awful lot that 9/11 did not change.

We thank the US Studies Centre for extending an early bird offer to Lowy Institute members who want to attend the conference. This offer is open until 13 May 2011. To take up the offer, enter the code 'USSC' during the registration process. Register here now, as places are limited.
