Yesterday the Lowy Institute hosted Qantas CEO Alan Joyce. As Lowy Institute Director Michael Wesley said in his intro, aviation has played a huge part in globalisation. But it's an incredibly tough business, and Joyce used his speech to describe the economic, regulatory and political environment. You can listen to Joyce's full speech here.
